21st Amendment Fireside Chat
From 21st Amendment – Like FDR’s Depression-Era Radio Addresses, which were like a kick in the butt and a hug at the same time, our Fireside Chat is a subtle twist on the traditional seasonal brew. We begin with a rich, dark, English-style ale and then we improvise with spices until we know we have a beer worth sharing with the nation. Celebrating the right to be original.
21st Amendment Brewing – 21st Amendment Fireside Chat – 12 oz. can poured into a goblet. 7.9% abv.
Appearance: Pours midnight brown with a tan ring around the edge.
Aroma: Holiday spice profile, dried dark fruit,Belgian-like yeast and gingersnaps.
Taste: Bitter, astringent spice, almost pencil like. Sasafras, spruce and German hops. To add to the abrasiveness, the alcohol is very present.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with high carbonation.
Overall: It’s a beautiful can, but the beer on the inside wasn’t enjoyable for me.
