Yazoo Brewing – Deux Rouges Variant Bottle Sale September 13, 2015

(Nashville,TN) – That’s right. 3 bottles of Deux Rouges are coming to smack your mouth with flavor here at the taproom on Sunday, September 13th from 2-6pm. A little more about the beers…

1. Our GABF Award Winning Cherry Deux Rouges is BACK. This version of Deux Rouges was aged 18 months in freshly emptied Merlot barrels with additional Brettanomyces, Tart Cherries and Dark Sweet Cherries. Copper colored wax seal.
(NO LIMIT!)

2. Grand Cru Deux Rouges Batch 2 – Each “yearly” batch we chose our favorite barrel for our Grand Cru that develops a little different than all the others. We save a small portion to blend into the following year’s regular Deux Rouges batch and bottle the rest. This is always a single barrel un-blended batch. This year’s batch was aged for 19 months in freshly emptied Merlot barrels. Gold wax colored seal. (LIMIT 2 BOTTLES PER PERSON)

3. Cassis Deux Rouges Batch 1 – A new single barrel un-blended variation of our base Flanders Red ale! Aged 19 months in freshly emptied Merlot barrels with 44lbs of Blackcurrants and a fresh dose of Brettanomyces. The Blackcurrant fruit adds a deep purple hue to the beer and huge dark jammy notes that are a perfect companion to the base beer. Purple colored wax seal. (LIMIT 2 BOTTLES PER PERSON)
