West Sixth Brewing Releases Lemongrass American Wheat In Cans

Lexington, KY – Today West Sixth Brewing launches their newest beer in a can – the Lemongrass American Wheat.

We’ve had this beer on in the taproom for a while, and it’s been a crowd favorite from the start. This isn’t your typical wheat beer – with 7 pounds of fresh lemongrass in each 15 barrel batch and the Sorachi Ace hops that flavors every batch, we think it is a really unique version of the style. Plus, it makes the brewery smell great when it’s brewing!

Availability: 12oz 6-pack of cans, 1/2 and 1/6 barrel kegs
Primary Hops: Sorachi Ace
Grains: Wheat, 2-row, Dextrin
ABV: 5.7%
20 lbs of fresh lemongrass/ 40 bbl

We couldn’t be more excited to have it available in a can. Weighing in at only 5.7%, this beer is going to be perfect for your spring and summer activities – picnics, golf, at the lake, or by the pool. Refreshing and crisp, the Lemongrass American Wheat will be a great addition to our IPA and Amber.

We’ll be canning it for the first time on Wednesday, so it should start appearing in stores in Lexington next week and the rest of our distribution area shortly after that!
