West Sixth Brewing Introduces Pennyrile Pale Ale
(Lexington, KY) – We’re excited to announce today the release of the newest beer in cans – the Pennyrile Pale Ale!
Pennyrile is going to be a great addition to our six-pack seasonal line. It will come in right behind DankeChain Oktoberfest, and fill in the gap until Belgian Blonde comes back in the spring. When we first brewed and tapped this dry-hopped Pale Ale, we knew it was destined to be canned!
Pennyrile Pale Ale is brewed with Mosaic and Citra hops, delivering big aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, juicy orange, and pine. The medium malt body helps carry the wide range of hop character, without overwhelming.
The name came as an ode to Kentucky. “Pennyrile” is a common term referencing the largest geographical area of Kentucky, Penny Royal – speckled with beautiful lakes, rolling hills, and plateaus. Wait until you see this design up-close! Our friends at Cricket Press knocked it out of the park, as usual.
We’ll see you on November 24th when we release this brew in the taproom at 3PM, and it will be available throughout the state and into Cincinnati that week!
