Verboten Brewing Shares Their GABF 2014 Gameplan
Verboten Brewing of Loveland, CO is all set for the 2014 Great American Beer Festival. For those not aware, the GABF is the largest craft beer festival in the USA where roughly 600 breweries set up a booth with a handful of beers to sample. In addition to the festival, there is a privately judged medal competition, handing out the gold, silver and bronze to the very best in a wide range of categories. Verboton shares with us what they will be pouring and entering in for competition. Stay tuned all month long as we pass along this type of info. Verboten Brewing will be pouring the following beers as well as entering them into the GABF medal competition
In Love With Summer, Strawberry-Rhubarb Wheat, Category 4 Fruit Wheat Beer, 5.2% ABV
Pure Imagination, Double Oatmeal Stout, Category 13A Other Strong Beer, 7.5% ABV
Angry Banjo, Kentucky Common, Category 15 Experimental Beer, 5.8% ABV
Mountain Man, Imperial Rye Ale/Strong Ale aged in bourbon barrels, Category 22 Wood and Barrel-Aged Strong Beer, 11.8% ABV
Roll in Ze’ Hay, Gose, Category 65B German-Style Sour Beer Leipzig-Style Gose, 5.2% ABV
Pro-Am: Crossroads, Wee Heavy, Category 82 Scotch Ale, 8.5 % ABV (pouring at the pro-am table)
Of note, Mountain Man we will be pouring at 7:30pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, and at 2:00pm Saturday afternoon session
