Track Town Runs Faster and Jumps Higher
Eugene, Or. – In honor of the Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR (June 27-July 6), brewmaster Trevor Howard of Eugene City Brewery has created two new beers for the Track Town lineup: 200 Meter IPA and Triple Jump Pale Ale.
200 Meter IPA is a true Northwest IPA. Light and golden, almost orange in color, with a primary focus on hop flavor and aroma. 200 Meter is brewed with 8 ingredients: Horizon, Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe hops and balanced with Northwest Pale and Munich malts, Free Range Coastal Water and Top Fermenting Pacman Yeast. 16 degrees Plato, 90 IBU, 75 AA, 6 degrees Lovibond.
Triple Jump Pale Ale is a classic pale ale. Light copper in color this refreshing Ale focuses on hop flavor with a slight malt presence in the background. Triple Jump is brewed with 8 ingredients: Horizon, Amarillo and Crystal Hops and Pale, Munich and Crystal malts, Free Range Coastal Water and Top Fermenting Pacman Yeast. 13.5 degrees Plato, 55 IBU, 75 AA, 8 degrees Lovibond.
The award winning 100 Meter Red IPA celebrates Trevor’s 100th batch brewed at Eugene City Brewery. 200 Meter IPA was brewed as the 200th batch and Triple Jump the 300th batch. Look forward to 400 Meter which should be on its way soon! Honey Orange Wheat, a seven-time award winner, rounds out the Track Town family of beers.
Track Town Ales are available in select track communities across the country: Eugene, Sacramento, Austin, Boulder, Palo Alto, Indianapolis, Baton Rouge, Knoxville, Boulder, Boston, New York City, Madison, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Gainesville, and Albuquerque. and San Francisco. Both 200 Meter IPA and Triple Jump Pale Ale will be available June 1st in 22oz serigraphed bottles and in draft.
Track Town wines will also be available.
