The Fort Collins Brewery Gets New Facility and New Beer
The Fort Collins Brewery Announces New Location and a New Beer to Celebrate It!
Beer gossip spreads through Fort Collins like pollen in springtime. This time around good news for craft beer lovers comes in the form of a brand new location and building for local favorite the Fort Collins Brewery. To celebrate this momentous exodus FCB will be holding a grand opening extravaganza at its new location at 1020 E. Lincoln on Saturday August 28th.
Two special release beers are planned for the party—and while the complete details of these beers will be kept a secret until the party—it can’t hurt to reveal that one of the beers will be called the 1020 Lager in ode to FCB’s popular 1900 Lager that was named for the breweries former address.
The Party is scheduled to kick off at noon on the 28th with festivities planned throughout the day. A special German style mug commemorating the event will be available that can be filled at three separate pouring stations throughout the brewery. Live music will be provided by Fort Collins own White Water Ramble as well as two other bands. Also, a variety of local food vendors will be selling much needed nourishment for satiated party-goers. Cycling to the event is highly recommended with extra bicycle racks available for bike parking. Party-goers should expect almost full access to the brand new facility with the brew floor open to curious beer lovers and staff on hand to answer any questions they might have about the beer or the process.
