The Bruery Set to Release Orange County Only Offering
The Bruery in Placentia, CA set to bottle a new offering, called Loakal Red, and will only be selling it in Orange County, CA, as a thank you to local patrons. Find out what the label will look like. – Cheers, TFP
Loakal Red will be hitting shelves in Orange County in a few weeks. It’s an OC only beer, not even LA or SD accounts will get it. We’re keeping this one real close to Placentia as a gift to our loyal home.
It will be available in both bottles and kegs, but again, only to Orange County stores, bars and restaurants.
Here is The Bruery’s Description of the beer, from their weekly Tasting Room emailer.
Loakal Red is a hoppy, oaky, American Red Ale. That’s right folks, our first ever beer brewed with an American ale yeast. This delicious beer is bright red with a citrusy nose and a slightly oaky dry finish.
This beer has been on tap at The Bruery Tasting Room for almost a month now, and we have yet to sample it. We will be doing so very soon, so stay tuned.

It’s good, not great. Had it at the provisions store last night. But then again, unless it’s a Flanders or sour, reds just aren’t my thing.
