Terrapin Beer & Saw Works Brewing Set Rivalry Aside In UGA/UT Commemorative Collaboration
Athens, GA – The much-anticipated 35th Parallel Ale – a collaboration between Terrapin Beer Company and Saw Works Brewing Company – is now available to the general public.
A soft launch began earlier in the week at pubs and restaurants in Chattanooga and Knoxville. Local establishments were given the opportunity to pre-release the Amber IPA since Tuesday. The official beer release party will be held on Friday, October 4th at Sunspot starting at 6 p.m.
“We’ve been overwhelmed with positive feedback. Our hope is that everyone gets a chance to celebrate a Tennessee win with a pint of 35th Parallel Ale.”
-Adam Palmer, Saw Works President & Co-Founder
The breweries named the beer 35th Parallel Ale to poke fun at the current (and nationally publicized) “water war” between Tennessee and Georgia due to the disputed state line on the 35th parallel.
“I have just one thing to say … Go Dawgs!”
-Brian “Spike” Buckowski, Terrapin Brewmaster & Co-Founder
