Catch and Release Seasonal Beer Launches Today in Atlanta

ATLANTA – Road Trip, the bikini season installment of SweetWater’s coveted Catch and Release seasonal beer series, launches today in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast shortly afterward. Call ‘shot gun’ and grab it while you can, because beer lovers will not want to miss this ride!  Like most good Road Trips, this crisp beer is perfect for warm weather, full of unexpected twists and turns, and has a spicy hop finish that’s hard to forget.

Available throughout the summer, Road Trip will rotate off the roster in July, never to be tasted again… well, until next year, that is. The Catch and Release seasonal beer series ensures that SweetWater fans never get bored. Motor Boat is the special treat for fall, followed by Festive Ale in the winter, and Happy Ending to celebrate the New Year.

Road Trip is just the beginning of SweetWater’s wild ride this season, with little time for rest stops along the way and plenty of reasons to raise a glass and celebrate. SweetWater brewers have been hard at work on the perfect addition to the year-round lineup of brews, and are ready to introduce Sch’Wheat, the refreshing, unfiltered American wheat ale that will join the ranks with SweetWater 420, SweetWater IPA, SweetWater Blue and Georgia Brown on Tuesday, June 1. To celebrate the launch, Sch’Wheat will be the June Beer of the Month at all Taco Mac locations! Before it is available to the masses at retailers, Sch’Wheat can be picked up in SweetWater Tackle Box variety packs and enjoyed on draft at the upcoming 6th Annual SweetWater 420 Fest on April 17 and 18 in Candler Park.

With all these changes, it’s nice to know that beer lovers can always count on SweetWater for a good time. Happy hour takes on a whole new meaning at the SweetWater Brewery and Tasting Room. There’s no better way to spend summer nights than on a patio with great friends, live music, lip smackin’ brews, and even your dog! The SweetWater Brewery is open for tours every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Tours and tastings are free, but guests can purchase a souvenir pint glass at the door for $8 and sample several award-winning beers.
