Surly Announces the Return of Abrasive and Smoke

Two of the arguably best beers Surly makes returns this month (December 2012). We’re talking about Surly Abrasive and Surly Smoke. Here is some good news from their recent emailer. Cheers!

The Return of Surly Abrasive

It’s that time of year again – snow is starting to fall, ugly sweaters are being pulled from the back of closets and we’re rolling out our Abrasive Ale! Nothin’ like a jolt of hops to keep out the cold, so look out for our Double IPA in your favorite bars and liquor stores for the next few months, starting today.

But if cracking open a can isn’t enough of a celebration for you, come down to Lyon’s Pub on 6th Street in Downtown Minneapolis (tfp: sorry for the late post) tonight at 7pm for the Abrasive Ale release party. It’s FREE to get in, Abrasive and all your other Surly favorites will be on tap and we’ll be there too, being as Abrasive as possible.

The Return of Surly Smoked Lager

If you’re having trouble writing that list to Santa, don’t fear – Surly’s here to help.  We’re nearly done brewing our latest batch of Smoked Lager, just in time for the holidays.  So put Smoke at the top of your list to the fat man and celebrate its release on December 19 at the Red Stag.
