“07.19.14 BE PART OF THE CRAFT BEER REVOLUTION
We’ve got a mind-blowing new project to share with you, dear Insiders! We know you’ll want to be a part of it, and that years from now, you’ll proudly tell your grandkids stories of how you were there when it all started. We’ll send you the specifics tomorrow, so set your alarm for 10am PT, Saturday, July 19th and get ready to become a forerunner in the worldwide revolution.”
We’ll share the word tomorrow morning, here are a few ideas of what it could be.
Stone 18th Anniversary Ale – This would be a fun way to kick off this beer, but not revolutionary or worldwide revolutionary.
Stone’s long awaited sour barrel aged beer program. – Stone will join the likes of Lost Abbey, The Bruery, Russian River,Firestone Walker and Allagash in having a lineup of fresh ales and sour ales.
A brewery outside of San Diego. – There have been talks over the years of a European expansion, Los Angeles expansion and East of the Mississippi expansion for a few years now. Perhaps something has progressed on these fronts.
Futuristic Vertical Epic – Stone Future Vertical Epic Ale 3000,3001,3002,3003, and so on.
Our leg is being pulled. – Insiders? We’ll share this with our grandkids and become a forerunnner in the worldwide revolution?

It could possibly be the announcement of Greensboro, NC as the site of Stone’s east coast expansion.
Greensboro, rumored to be on Stone’s short-list of possible choices, was the site of one of the most decisive battles in the American Revolutionary War.
