[Update] Stone 19th Anniversary IPA Will Be….

[Update] We have just learned via Stone’s facebook that Stone 19th Anniversary IPA will in fact be 100% Australian IPA. Here’s what they had to say:

Today, we’re proud to announce STONE 19TH ANNIVERSARY ‪#‎IPA‬ will be brewed with 100% Australian ingredients, from the grain bill to the Ella, Vic Secret, Topaz and Jaryllo hops that will give it such unique character!”

(Escondido,CA) – Each year, Stone Brewing Co. fans wait in anticipation for what type of beer will be brewed for their anniversary beer. More times than not, it’s a Double IPA.  While there has been no mention of this beer from the label scouring sites, we have it on good authority on what it will be this year.

Based on www.google.com, Stone 19th Anniversary IPA will be an Australian IPA making it’s retail debut on August 10th.  There are many cool hop varieties come out of the continent of Australia, and very new exciting varieties coming out of the country proper. In the coming weeks, we expect Stone to make the official announcement, along with the official hop and malt bill, and the story behind the creation.
