Smuttynose Strawberry Short Weiss Coming Soon!

Smuttynose’s next Short Batch beer is called “Strawberry Short Weiss.”  We don’t have a release date yet, but it’s a 3.7%, non-sour mash, Berliner Weiss aged on all-natural strawberry puree.  We soured the wort with a culture of lactobacillus and fermented the rest of the sugars with a German Hefeweizen yeast.  We’ve got about 30 cases of 750’s that’ll go on sale at Smuttynose at a date that’ll be announced on our Facebook page and through our email list.  We’ll be releasing a limited amount of bottles of each Short batch release at Smuttynose and we’ll get the info out through the above mentioned channels
