Side Project Brewing Tasting Room Grand Opening – December 18, 2016
(Maplewood, MO) – Side Project Brewing is opening our brewery tasting room to the public for the first time this Sunday, December 18, 2016, from 12pm to 7pm. We will have several draft offerings and Side Project bottles available for on-site enjoyment, plus we will be releasing one beer to-go starting at 12pm – Side Project Foedre Fermier.
Side Project Foedre Fermier – A limited expression of our Saison du Fermier that was fermented in and aged in a Medium-Toast Missouri Oak Foedre with our local microflora. It will be available to purchase to-go in the new Side Project tasting room at 7458 Manchester Road in Maplewood starting at 12pm on Sun, Dec. 18th. It is 7% ABV, $25 a bottle, and the bottle allocation is to be determined.
Due to the Holiday Season, here is the Open for Business Schedule for the new Side Project Brewing Tasting Room:
- Sun, Dec. 18th: OPEN 12pm-7pm
- Sat, Dec. 24th & Sun, Dec. 25th: Closed for Christmas Eve & Christmas
- Sat, Dec. 31st: OPEN 12pm-7pm
- Sun, Jan. 1st: Closed for New Year’s Day
- Sat, Jan. 7th & Sun, Jan. 8th: OPEN 12pm to 7pm every Saturday & Sunday from this point on!
Side Project Brewing has a parking lot of 20+ spots. If our parking lot is full, please use any public (not private) parking provided by the City of Maplewood. The large public parking lot right next to The Side Project Cellar is about 1.5 blocks away from our new brewery.
The Side Project Cellar, located at 7373 Marietta Ave. in Maplewood, is our Belgian-inspired beer bar with whiskey & wine that is also our tasting room for Side Project beers. It will remain operating its current hours (www.thesideprojectcellar.com). With our new brewery in operation, we are excited to be able to offer even more Side Project beers at The Side Project Cellar (and in our brewery tasting room) in the future.
Side Project Brewing began in 2013 and The Side Project Cellar opened in 2014, and both are owned and operated by Cory and Karen King. What began as a dream and just a side project has now grown into our 100% barrel-aged brewery. Passion, experiementation and patience drive the creation of our rustic Saisons, Wild Ales and Spirit Barrel-Aged Ales. As we share our craft with you, we hope you share it with your friends as well.
