RUMOR: Saint Archer Brewing To Announce Sale to MillerCoors??
(San Diego,CA) – Rumors have been swirling for a few days now regarding the future of Saint Archer Brewing Co. Saint Archer Brewing is a fairly young startup brewery out of San Diego. Unlike many startups, Saint Archer entered the scene with a big bang, being backed and endorsed by a group of pro athletes in the extreme sports genre. In addition to the star studded financial and marketing backing, Saint Archer has a dream team of brewers. While their approach has been a little off-putting to the biggest craft beer diehards, they have undoubtedly pumped out a lineup of solid to excellent beers.
So what are these rumors? From a dozen different sources within the industry, it has been explained to us that Saint Archer has been bought by Coors. Now the first thing to keep in mind, the US operations this rumor is referring to is MillerCoors. Coors is that delicious beer in the silver or gold cans. So, naturally we reached out to Saint Archer’s CEO Josh Landen for comment. Here is what he said:
“Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your continued support. At this time, I have no comment on rumors and speculation. We are focused on making the best beer we can and pushing our brand forward. Thank you.
