R.B.I.P.A.
7.0% 1.054 OG 70 IBU
Our new West Coast style I.P.A. created for our friends over the river at Raley Field. This is a dry I.P.A. with a lot of fruit tones. Plenty of pineapple and tropical fruit flavors with this ale!
Grapefruit Hopsauce
8.2% 1.078 OG 109 IBU
A nice, golden-colored X.X.I.P.A. full of aromas of pine, citrus, and some earth spice notes. Created using English pale malts and an abundance of select hops, including Mosaic, Summit, Cascade, and Nugget. This ale features plenty of El Dorado and Mosaic in the dry hop and is conditioned for one-week with natural and unprocessed zest from ripe grapefruits, freshly zested by hand one-at-a-time by Chris and Krieg. Enjoy the “fruits” of their labor!
Purple Maibock
7% ABV 1.066 OG 26 IBU
This classic mainstay of the Rubicon Brewery, originally brewed in 1999, comes but once a year. This bock style lager has an abundance of specialty malt with a German hop character that rounds out this classic seasonal. Dubbed the “Velvet Hammer”, she’s smooth but packs a punch.
Angus Scottish Ale
7.4% 1.073 OG 56.1 IBU
Brewed using English Crisp malt, medium crystal, and a touch of roasted barley, this Scottish ale pours dark amber with a thick creamy head. Subtle roast works with a strong malt sweetness that is balanced by the spicy floral hop.
Winter Wheatwine
11.5%
Stay tuned…brewed April 26 & 27! The Winter Wheatwine is brewed in a style similar to a BarleyWine, but uses 60% wheat in place of the barley. The recipe was inspired by late Jim Pell, while attempting a batch of homebrew. He came up with a wheat ale that was over 10% ABV…WHEW! This was a big mistake for him, but one we have been proud to carry on in his memory since 1988…
