Rogness Brewing Titanoboa Triple IPA Now Available
Pflugerville/Austin, TX – It has been a while since we heard from Rogness Brewing but from what we hear they were waiting and waiting for label approval to announce the release of Titanoboa, their new triple IPA.
The recent unearthing of Titanoboa was, for many, the most exciting fossil discovery since the T-Rex. A 48 foot snake that ate crocodiles with no effort deserves to have a beer named after it. After 60 million years in hiding, Titanoboa has been reborn as a triple IPA with 10 different hops added at 10 different times in the brewing process. The different additions create an aromatic and flavorful hop experience meant to counteract the bitterness. Featuring over 5 lb of hops per barrel, this is our most complex beer we have done to date and is truly the bigger, meaner brother of Gigantophis. Ideally served at 50 – 55°F.
We are very excited to unleash our newest hoppy beast unto the world (or central Texas, at least). Drink it fresh and allow it to warm up a bit in your glass for the best taste experience. A lot of work and time went into this beer. We hope you enjoy it. There are a few kegs around, but it was mostly bottled. Look for it on select shelves in Austin, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and surrounding areas. You can also try it this Saturday at our booth at the Big Texas Beer Fest in Dallas (if it lasts!).
After you grab a pint or bottle, you can vote for it in the “Best Imperial IPA Poll“. Voting ends April 18.
