[UPDATED] HopWatch 2017: Where to find Pliny the Younger

Another year, another HopWatch. It’s Pliny the Younger season and we here at The Full Pint want to help you cross this off your craft beer bucket list. While we have varying opinions across the board about what our favorite IPA’s are – even what our favorite Russian River IPAs are (sup, Blind Pig?) –  there is no doubt that Russian River Brewing has earned its keep as one of the best breweries in the world. So bear with us as we (rightfully) fuel some of the fan-fare the next few weeks for those who have yet to get a taste of this once-a-year brew.

While the Younger craze officially kicked off at Russian River Brewing on February 3, the start of San Francisco Beer Week this past Friday, February 10 officially marked the start of our annual Hop Watch as kegs are now in distribution and should be creeping to the southland in the coming days.

While it’s still too early to tell where and when these tappings will happen, we wanted to give you a list of bars that got the Younger in 2016 to give you an idea of which places to keep your eyes on. We will be updating this as often as possible — have a hot tip? Leave it in the comments!
