Pagosa Springs, CO – Pagosa Brewing Wins 2 More Beer Awards at the 2009 North American Beer Awards! Honeymoon Ale won the Silver Medal for the Honey Beer category, and Pumpkin Porter won the Bronze Medal for the Herb & Spice Beer category. Here is a note from Tony and the Brew Crew!
We are very pleased to announce that Pagosa Brewing has won two more North American Beer Awards! This competition has entries from Alaska to Mexico.
Honeymoon Ale celebrates the Anniversary of our head brewer, Tony, and his then lead brewer, Julie. It’s brewed in the style of a Braggot, an ancient combination of Mead & Ale. Made with locally-sourced honey and hops picked by the light of the moon!
Pumpkin Porter was brewed with hand-roasted pumpkin and spices, which perfectly blends into our rich, dark Porter. And last year, we originally served Pumpkin Porter “Cask-Style” out of a giant pumpkin on Halloween Eve.
While not on-tap right now, look forward to sampling our Honeymoon Ale at the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) this 
September. And this Halloween, look forward to our new beer, Great Pumpkin Ale.
