Newport Storm Brewery Expands Distribution to Maine Via Vacationland Distributors

(Portland, Maine) – The team at Vacationland Distributors, LLC., Maine’s newest beer and wine distributor, are excited to announce their newest brewery partner: Newport Storm out of Newport, Rhode Island.

“We’re proud to bring Newport Storm products to Maine – after all, the founders went to college here, and the brewer grew up in Scarborough!” says Jim O’Brien, President and Co-Founder of Vacationland Distributors, LLC. “The folks at Newport Storm make super high-quality craft beer, and with their broad recipe lineup, there’s bound to be something to appease every craft beer fan’s palette.”

“After 15 years, it is really exciting to have my beer available in the state I spent the first 22 years of my life in. My parents are still in Scarborough in the same house I grew up in, and I’m looking forward to bringing Newport Storm to Maine where I first learned to brew,” says Derek Luke, Brewmaster and Founder at Newport Storm.

Newport Storm will offer no fewer than nine of their brews to the people of Maine. The following recipes will find their way to Maine taps and store shelves in the next twelve months:

Newport Storm will have its Maine debut at the upcoming Portland Brew Festival, which runs Friday, August 29 through Saturday, August 30. Following the Brew Festival, Maine’s craft beer fans will find Newport Storm on store shelves in early September.
