New Belgium Brewing Expands Distribution to New York State
(FORT COLLINS,CO) – New Belgium Brewing will begin selling beer across New York on May 16, 2016, making the Empire State its 44th state of distribution. With 500,000 barrels of additional capacity coming online from their new brewery in Asheville, NC, New Belgium will focus on building deep connections in the Tri-state Area throughout 2016.

“New York is a big one for us,” said New Belgium’s Northeast and Canada Division Sales Director, Rich Rush. “It’s a high density, fast-paced market and there are a lot of craft-savvy customers throughout the state. We now have the capacity to make sure we can keep the pipeline full, so the timing is ideal on all counts.”
Initial draft offerings will include Fat Tire, Ranger IPA, Citradelic IPA, Heavy Melon Watermelon Lime Ale (seasonal) and Rampant Imperial IPA. In 12-oz bottles consumers will find Fat Tire, Ranger, Citradelic, Heavy Melon, Rampant and Glutiny (gluten-reduced). Fat Tire and Citradelic cans will also be immediately available. Slow Ride Session IPA, 1554 Black Lager and Lips of Faith beers will become available as of August, 2016.
