Monkish Brewing Brett Heart & Bisous Bottle Release at Noon PST
(Torrance, CA) – Last year, after meeting Stone Cold Steve Austin for the launch of Broken Skull IPA, we joked with neighboring brewery Monkish Brewing that we wouldn’t visit their brewery unless they could get Bret “The Hitman” Hart in for a meet and greet, as we only visit breweries that can provide us with our wrestling idols. It became an ongoing joke that turned into a collaboration project commemorating our 9th Anniversary this past August. As a play on words of sorts, Monkish Brewed a bretted grisette with raspberries, as a nod to the Excellence of Execution. Monkish put a very limited amount of this beer in bottles, and they go on sale tomorrow. Read on for details of how you can get your hands on not only Brett Heart, but also Bisous. Cheers!
Beer Details
BISOUS is a mixed-fermentation saison ale aged in oak wine barrels with boysenberry. Berry, jammy, tart, with earthy funkiness. ABV 7.4%, 750ml bottle, bottle conditioned, cork and caged.
BRETT HEART is a farmhouse ale aged in oak barrels with raspberries to celebrate our friends at TheFullPint.com for their recent 9th anniversary celebration! Berry brightness and tart with earthy funk. ABV 5.0%, 750ml bottle, bottle conditioned, cork and caged.

Online presale begins Thursday, 11/3 at 12:00pm and ends Saturday, 11/5 at 9:00am (3 hours before release), or when bottles are sold out. Any bottles not sold online will be available for purchase on the day of the event at our Tasting Room. There are NO PROXIES for this release.
