Maui Brewing & Crooked Stave Create Two Tickets to Paradise
(Kihei, HI) – “Two Tickets to Paradise”, Maui Brewing Company’s tart tropical Saison brewed with hibiscus and local limes is a collaboration project developed with Crooked Stave of Denver, Colorado. The opportunity to taste this bright pink effervescent beer begins today on Valentine’s Day at Maui Brewing Company’s new full-service restaurant and tasting room in Kihei before it launches in all markets.
“We decided to brew a Saison that blended our love for sour fermentation and the use of local ingredients,” said MBC’s Brewmaster, Kim Brisson-Lutz. “We enjoy collaborating with breweries that are innovative and independent. We are huge fans of Crooked Stave and the beer they produce.”
Two Tickets to Paradise utilizes Pilsner Wheat, Flaked and Golden Naked Oats, as well as Motueka, Huell Melon, and Mandarina hops. The Saison has an ABV of 4.8% and 20 IBUs, creating what Brisson-Lutz described as having a “very vibrant acidity from the hibiscus and lime, super refreshing, and crushable”.
Available in all markets where Maui Brewing Company craft beer can be found, Two Tickets to Paradise comes in 4-pack cans and draft.
