Brewed for the darkness, Left Hand Brewing is bringing back the original edition – Volume 1 Foreign Export Stout for the 2014 winter season! Fade to Black Vol 1. is a longtime fan favorite and 2x Gold medal winner at the Great American Beer Festival for the foreign stout category.
Traditionally released in volumes presenting a new dark style each year, Left Hand has brought back their original 2009 Volume 1 in their renowned winter series. “Why keep a two time gold medal winner on the bench? Our fans let us know it was long overdue to bring one of the best export stouts in the country back in the fray.” comments Jason Ingram, National Sales Manager. Volume 1 – Foreign Export Stout pours black with licorice, espresso bean, molasses, and black cardamom notes.
