Heavy Seas Would Like to Thank You…Thank You Very Much

Heavy Seas Brewing, formerly Clipper City Brewing would like to thank you for your 15 years of support.  Read on to find out about the beer they will be making in honor of this milestone.

In honor of our anniversary, we have brewed this very special India Pale Ale. This 8% (ABV) IPA was brewed with 6 kinds of hops and, like our Loose Cannon, it was hopped 3 times in the brewing process.

The recipe used a combined 150 lbs of Palisade, Centennial and Cascade hops in the hopback alone.  If that isn’t enough hops for you – it was also dry hopped with Simcoe and Palisade. Thank You, Thank You Very Much is a complex, hoppy beer with citrus and hints of pine in the nose. Look for it in the state of Maryland and Washington, DC in 22oz bottles and very limited draft.
