Great Notion Brewing Bourbon Barrel Double Stack Release Details
(Portland, OR) – We are psyched to celebrate the launch of our new NW 28th location with the sale of the remaining 425 Bourbon Barrel Double Stack (BBDS) single bottles! * Online ticket sale time: Friday, March 8, 2019 from 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM – link below!*
BBDS is a blend of Double Stack (our Imperial Stout fermented with substantial amounts of maple syrup and aged on whole bean Sumatra from local Portland roastery, Clutch Coffee) transferred into freshly-emptied Bourbon barrels. A large portion of the barrels are from local friends, Bull Run Distillery, along with barrels from Woodford Reserve and Heaven Hill Distillery. After more than two years, GNB brewers selected their favorite barrels and BBDS was blended and bottled.
Besides 425 single bottles of BBDS, we also have a very limited amount of BBDS glasses and beanies for sale (only 25 of each remain)!Single bottles of BBDS are 1 per person and cost $26.81 + $3.19 (Eventbrite fee) = $30 total.
BBDS glasses are $20 and BBDS beanies are $20. Also, 1 per person.
Important items to note below. Please read carefully as there will be no exceptions.
Have your Government Issued ID (drivers license, passport, or military ID) and form of payment on hand and ready to go. Move through that screen as quickly as possible. The tickets are officially yours once the credit card payment has been processed.
In the interest of ensuring our local customers don’t get shut out of online sales, we do NOT permit pick-up of bottles by a proxy.
The name entered as the Ticket Buyer must match the name on the credit card used for purchase. Conflicting orders will be deleted. When retrieving your bottles, you must present your valid ID and the information must match. You may be asked to present the credit card used for your purchase upon pick-up.
To exchange your tickets for your purchases, you must bring your tickets (printed or mobile) and show your VALID ID that matches the name and ID number on the ticket. Expired, hole punched or otherwise damaged IDs will NOT be accepted, even with DMV paperwork. Sorry, but this is our house policy.
If tickets do not sell out online, bottles may be available for purchase in the Tasting Room after the sale concludes.
Logistics & Pick-Up
BBDS Tickets may be redeemed ONLY AT GREAT NOTION BREWING NW (2444 NW 28TH AVE., PORTLAND, OR 97210) during the following hours next week:Mon-Thurs 3/11 to 3/14: 7 am through 10 pm
Fri-Sat 3/15 & 3/16: 7 am to 11 am (ONLY during coffee service hours on Fri & Sat)
The absolute FINAL day to pick up purchases made in this online sale is Saturday, 3/16 at 11 am. Items not retrieved from GNB NW at 2444 NW 28th Ave. by 11:00 am on Saturday, 3/16 will be surrendered back to the brewery and resold. We reiterate, DO NOT go to our Alberta St. location to pick up your BBDS.
Returns & Exchanges
No returns or exchanges will be made; all sales are final. Purchases abandoned at the brewery after the pickup window closes will be immediately resold, all claims will be forfeited.
