Fall to Winter with Idle Hands
As we kick off into holiday mode, there’s a lot going on everywhere and Idle Hands is no exception:
NO GROWLER HOURS on SATURDAY! However, we will be open on Thursday from 5 – 8 pm. In addition to our tastings and growler fills, we still have a few bottles of Charlton Rouge, our Flanders-style red ale, plus Pandora & Triplication in stock.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for bottling on Wednesday evening, November 29th. 6:30 pm – 9-ish. Email Grace directly if you’re interested/available. To receive emails about volunteering opportunities, manage your email preferences here.
This weekend, come by the Drink Craft Beer’s Fall to Winter Fest @ Space 57 at the Revere Hotel in downtown Boston to say hello. The festival will include 3 sessions – 1 on Friday, November 30th (6 – 9:30 pm) and 2 on Saturday, December 1st (1 – 4:30 pm and 6 – 9:30 pm). Buy tickets now! Our line-up at this inaugural event includes:
- Cognition (Abbey Style Session Brown)
- Rosemary for Remembrance (Belgian ale w/sweet potatoes, Valley Wheat & rosemary)
- OH, Baby! (Belgian Pilsner-esque nuptial ale) – NEW!
- Absence of Light (Belgian Stout) – YES, it’s back!!
SAVE THE DATE and mark your calendars for the evening of 12.12.12. Plan to come by Idle Hands for a in-house ONLY release event for our Bourbon Barrel-Aged Triplication. Yes, you read that correctly: Bourbon. Barrel-Aged. Triplication. More details to follow. If that isn’t enough reason to plan a visit that night, as a bonus, our Night Shift Brewing neighbors will also be hosting an event next door.
Finally, A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who was kind to drop off supplies for our Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts. We were overwhelmed with your contributions and are happy to report that they made their way to the Highland, NJ community successfully this past week.
We know it’s a busy time of year but we hope to see all you some time very soon!
