Epic Beer (Utah) – New Beers for Spring
An Epic spring is on our minds. March coming in at 50 degrees helps set the stage. We recently brewed a couple of spring and summer favorites from last year, as well as two new beers.
Sometime in March look for the return of our Wit Beer (a nicely spiced Belgian to celebrate warm days) along with the Brown Rice Ale (the perfect bottle to crack open after a spring powder day).
One new comer is Rio’s Rompin’ Rye. Think: fresh baked rye bread in a bottle with a hint of lemon and spice from the hops and yeast.
Just this week we released Jack Mormon Coffee Stout with cocoa nibs, Jack Mormon Coffee and milk sugar. It is 8.1% ABV and tastes like dessert and coffee in a bottle. Chocolate dominates the pallet now and will likely give way to a little more coffee, if anyone can stand to let it age. To our Vegan friends and anyone with allergies to milk, this beer contains milk derived lactose.
