Elysian Turns 15! – Stop into any of our pubs (Capitol Hill, Elysian Fields or Tangletown) over the next month and vote for 15 of your favorite Elysian brews. The top picks will be brewed and put on tap for our 15 beers for 15 years celebration at our Capitol Hill brewpub May 10, 2011.
New Beer – Our DECEPTIVE AND DELICIOUS new spring seasonal will be hitting shelves the first week of February 2011. If you’ve visited the Elysian pubs over the years, you may have tried “The Bitch”, but this is the first time she will make her way to retail shelves.
BÊTE BLANCHE Belgian-style Tripel is extremely drinkable, blonde and somewhat treacherous. Brewed entirely from Pale malt with Belgian candy sugar in the boil. Bittered with German Northern Brewer and finished with Styrian Goldings hops; fermented with Belgian Ale yeast. 7.5% ABV
THE NAME A twist on the French expression “Bête Noire,” Bête Blanche means white beast.
