Devil’s Canyon Introduces Belle – A California Sparkling Ale

Belle is a beer that has been in the planning stages in one form or another for just over 10 years, the goal being to create a new class of brewing requiring true artisan effort and in the tradition of great brewing – push the edges of the envelope.
Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company has been producing barrel-aged beers and a rye-based India Pale Ale since our founding in 2001 but as these styles have become more common-place we felt it was time to take on a new challenge, create a new category, and produce a truly unique craft beer offering.
Though light in color, at 6% abv. Belle is loaded with layers of complex flavors while maintaining a well-rounded balance.
There are no common styles for Belle to be compared to; it is in a class unto itself and can be readily used as a replacement for champagne, sauvignon blanc and as the base for mimosas, cocktails and whatever exciting creations the bourgeoning generation of mixologists will come up with.
