Create a Brue for The Bruery – Batch ??? Contest Details
(Placentia,CA) – The Bruery is holding a homebrew competition and the winning beer will be recreated in our brewhouse and distributed for all to enjoy!
It’s been over 7 years since we held the Batch No. 1 homebrew competition that led to the very first beer ever brewed by The Bruery. Since then, we have had a competition for our 50th, 300th and most recently, our 1,000th batch of beer. Entries have come in from all over the world and winners have hailed from California, Colorado and New Jersey.
If you’ve been keeping up with The Bruery recently, you know that we’re in the middle of many new developments. We have a brand new brewhouse getting installed in just a couple of months and we’re nearly ready to launch Bruery Terreux, a new brand focused specifically on funky and sour ales. With all of the excitement around here, we thought it was only fitting to let our fans help us formulate one of our newest recipes. We aren’t quite sure when that brew will fall into our schedule, so this time around we’re calling it our BATCH # ??? Competition.
This will be a BJCP certified homebrew competition at our brewery and the winning beer will be brewed on our professional system and sold as a full scale batch of beer. The beer will be entered into the 2015 Great American Beer Festival as a Pro/Am entry* and may even be distributed on a national level! And of course, the winner will be invited to The Bruery to help us replicate their award winning homebrew!
*if brewed before the competition beer deadline in August
