Chandeleur Island Brewing Expands Distribution to Alabama
(Gulfport, MS.)- Chandeleur Island Brewing Company has announced a partnership with United Johnson Brothers to bring their beers to the state of Alabama. The agreement will bring statewide distribution of Chandeleur cans, kegs, and bombers to the Yellowhammer State for the first time.
Chandeleur Island Brewing, located a stone’s throw from the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, came on the scene in 2015 to bring their unique brand of craft beer to the Gulf Coast. Focusing on local ingredients, slow crafted ales, and marine conservation, the brewery is themed after the Chandeleur Islands, barrier islands located 27 miles off the coast of Mississippi.
Their core 4 beers; Lil Smack IPA, Freemason Golden Ale, Curlew’s Coconut Porter, and Surfside wheat, are offered year round in 12 oz. cans and on draft and are all named after parts of the Chandeleur Islands.
Chandeleur’s newest endeavor is their Nervous Waters series, a line of high gravity, uniquely brewed beers available only in 22 oz. bombers. Their first release, a Bourbon barrel aged Stout with Brettanomyces is available now and the next release of Big Smack, a double IPA brewed with Orange Blossom Honey, is set for release in March.
