Tomorrow, we release Dawn Of Man DIPA brewed with Banana, Coconut, Vanilla, Lactose and a blend of Hefeweizen and London 3 yeast strains. This beer is another notch in our exploratory soup program. Gotta say, for all the new order tricks buried inside this can, it lands as an integrated set of vacation flavors — a Hawaiian shirt for your hydration super highway. Hop and grain bill importance begin to recede in place of an alternate desert-cocktail vibration. Dawn Of Man started as Monkey Party in the hearts and minds of some our most psychedelic team members. Along the way it became Dawn Of Man — a nod to Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. It took a slight left and found this segmented banana-snake. What a gift to be able to indulge ourselves and track down esoteric forms of creativity. To really land this banana plane, our Lincoln shop staff made a banana-rich playlist to listen to while absorbing it all, if you’re a Spotify user, find it by searching “ban-NEIPA (MONKEY BIZZ)”. The beer is available at 11am tomorrow in our shop or Balmoral taproom. $19.99/4pk 16oz cans, 8.5% ABV.

We recently got together with our #beerbuddies at @moderntimesbeer to whip up an IPA with outrageous quantities of Nelson, Motueka, Simcoe, and Crystal hops. Modern Times will be brew another iteration at their spot that’ll be dropping in October. ———————————————————- #GentleReminderIPA will be hitting Southern California store shelves next week. This widely supported piece of legislation brings a wave of positive changes and modernization to the beverage industry here in Connecticut. One notable provision is the increase in the limit on beer to-go breweries can sell to individuals from 2.3 gallons to 9 gallons per day. We applaud our local representatives (notably Rep. Compact Disc made its debut about a year ago as the first Pils we decided to put in cans.
