This Saturday at 11am we are releasing Nordic Haze, a new hazy IPA fermented with kveik yeast, at the Taproom on 14th Avenue. This 6.4% hazy was brewed with an interesting strain of kveik, a historic Norwegian yeast that we are experimenting with for the first time. This yeast adds depth and complexity to the profile of this beer, with layered stone fruits and green mango flavors coming from the yeast alone. This Saturday 3/30, starting at 11:30am at the brewery, we are happy to introduce Laboratory Waves (10.2% ABV TIPA) at $22 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change. Science and experimentation continue here at the brewery and we are happy to bring you something new. Laboratory Waves has everything you love in SOTL with a balanced amount of lactose added, creating a beer with an even softer and creamier finish. It pours a hazy and very bright tangerine with aromas of freshly squeezed citrus, lime and grapefruit and a tropical fruit character and an overall aroma that mimics island tiki drinks. The flavor is absolutely tremendous with notes of bright tropical orange juice, mango smoothie, and dank grass. The finish is constantly evolving in your mouth as it goes from an escalating brightness beaming with our signature #EQjuice morphing into a soft and creamy tropical fruit flavored popsicle with a touch of sweetness. This may be the smoothest TIPA to come out of our lab yet! More to come…

We have two new single-hop offerings hitting the tasting room this week – Roam: Strata and Wile. • Strata (formerly X-331) is a new hop out of Oregon that’s turning a lot of heads. We were blown away by our first encounters with the variety and were fortunate to land enough to give it the Roam treatment. Fresh orange, passion fruit and cannabis aromatics dominate this one – it’s truly one of the most rounded, expressive hops we’ve seen lately. • Wile is whirlpool and dry-hopped exclusively with the now-classic Citra. We were thrilled with our initial draft-only batch and are pleased to give this one the can treatment. • There’s a bit of Daylily and Quiet Night remaining to join these two at the start of the weekend.
