Introducing: Dead Wax. On Friday morning at 11am we are beyond excited to share with you the first ever cans of this single IPA, dry hopped with generous portions of Denali, Vic secret and Azacca. With enormous citrus and tropical aroma, this beer puts forth tasting notes of tangerine, pineapple and creamsicle. We took our first sip of this one and had no other words… we thought, damn, this is yummy. 6.8% ABV. These cans represent our latest collaborative effort with local artist Sarah Letteney (@smallsuture). Sarah is a Burlington, Vermont, resident, where she illustrates her way through daydreams and nightmares. While Sarah embraces her ink covered fingers, she likes to think there is more to it than just the skin that holds us. Her heartfelt and oft comical expression of our awkward humanness, balanced with dreams of what else the universe holds, shine bright through her simple black lines. As a contributing artist for the New Yorker (@newyorkermag), Sarah has been making her mark in the art and illustration world over the past couple years. We feel honored to work with an artist like her, as we feel her vision and sense of humor aligns with ours. Thank you, Sarah. Today, Wednesday, Jan 16, at 3pm we will be releasing a Progeny beer by Beau, named Interstellar Planet Eating Creature – Imperial Stout. When you combine certain flavors, it can attract the top of the galactic food-chain. This gigantic monster is completely void of light, and has a complex array of maple, bacon, peanut butter, and chocolate. Opening your can signals the end of times, so choose wisely. Well, hypothetically of course. Limit – 4 cans $8/can.

Where’d the time go?? Just like that, a new IPA appears. Lost Time, out today, is a 7.6% hazy IPA with Mosaic, Nugget, Comet and Centennial. ⠀ Canned just yesterday, Lost Time is available in our taproom and around SF today ???? and in select beer shops around Oakland tomorrow. ⠀ ~⠀ Lost Time, Hazy IPA – 7.6% ABV⠀ ⠀ There’s a lot to unpack here with this complex hop bill: Mosaic still leads the way with mango and pineapple, the Comet and Centennial hops bring some wonderful tangerine and sweet orange notes, and Nugget seems to contribute a fair amount of pine adding some welcome complexity. A cleaner fermentation profile steers this beer away from being overripe and too tropical, which is a nice change of pace for our IPAs as of late. Soft mouthfeel per usual, slightly higher bitterness than normal. A lot of folks are throwing out terms like “Bi-Coastal” or “Hazy West Coast” lately and I think this beer would fit that descriptor given the hop expression, bitterness levels, and subdued ester profile.⠀

Saturday, January 26th, we’re releasing Fruit Puncher, a fruited Double IPA with lactose, brewed in collaboration with our friends from @cartonbrewing. Plus, we’re launching our new small batch barrel aged sour program, so we’ll have 4 new sours in bottles too! Fruit Puncher contains an insane variety of fruit additions to mimic a fruit punch beverage. Fruit additions include: cherry, strawberry, papaya, mango, and pineapple. Urban Lumberjack: This hazy or New England style IPA has 6 hop varieties primary flavors from Citra, Azacca & Eldorado hops, Amarillo, Simcoe and Mandarina adding additional subtle flavors. This IPA is juicy and tropical with notes or orange, nectarine, and mango. ABV 6.5% | 67 IBU Just Brut It: This Brut is crisp, light, dry and has tropical fruit notes including melon and white grape.
