Ballast Point Victory at Sea Returns for 2011

The first of the 2011 Victory at Sea Coffee Vanilla Imperial Porter bottles will be available for sale tomorrow, Thursday October 27th, at both of our brewery locations.  Starting at 11am, you can try a taster or purchase a 22oz bottle to take home with you (limit one case per customer).

For those who don’t remember, Victory at Sea is a 10% ABV Imperial Porter brewed with cold extracted, freshly brewed coffee, specially roasted for us by our friends at Cafe Calabria.  The addition of vanilla adds a layer of complexity and the result is full flavored, rich and delicious.  But you will have to judge for yourself.

As if this wasn’t enough to get you here, The Pierogi Truck will be at Scripps Ranch again tomorrow afternoon for another round of Eastern European delights.  If you missed the potato cheese pierogi or the stuffed cabbage roll, you missed out.  But don’t despair, you will have another opportunity tomorrow.  Lucky.

Also, continuing the trend of awesome food driving up to our door, New York on Rye will be at Scripps Ranch on Friday afternoon serving up deli classics like knish, pastrami and fries in addition to some so-calized items like corned beef burritos.  These guys have been regulars on the Scripps Ranch lunch scene for several weeks now and are getting rave reviews.  Check out both food trucks on Facebook and then come here to see what is really going on.
