Allagash at the World Beer Cup 2008
On April 19th, 2008, at the Craft Brewers Conference in San Diego, California, Allagash was awarded three medals in the World Beer Cup.
Allagash Dubbel was awarded the Gold Medal in the Belgian-style Dubbel category.
Allagash Tripel was awarded the Silver Medal in the Belgian-style Tripel category.
Allagash Curieux was awarded the Bronze Medal in the wood and Barrel-aged strong beer category.
The Brewer’s Association World Beer Cup is one of the most well respected beer competitions in the world. Taking place every two years, it is the only international competition that awards only three medals in each category. Competing agains 2,864 beers, 644 breweries from 58 countries, Allagash is proud to be one of only 17 breweries awarded three or more medals.
