One of the most popular craft breweries in the country, 3 Floyds Brewing of Munster, IN has had a problem for years. That problem is they can’t meet the demand of their loyal followers all the time. With the help of a property tax abatement, Three Floyds Brewing could nearly double in size.
The acquisition of property immediately north of Three Floyds, 9750 Parkway, would enable the business to expand from a current 30,000 square feet to 56,000 square feet in a $7.5 million project.
The addition calls for a new bottling and packaging line, warehouse and basement storage areas, a tasting room/carryout counter, an exercise room for employees and maintenance room.
In addition, Three Floyds would add a distillery to produce a variety of spirits, such as high-end whiskeys.
