Inaugural Big Brew NY Beer Festival Headed To Westchester
White Plains, NY – It’s time for New York craft beer lovers and foodies alike to rejoice–Big Brew NY is coming! After the resounding success of the Big Brew Beer Festival events in New Jersey, the Big Brew NY Beer Festival will have its inaugural launch on Saturday, February 8th, 2014 at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY.
“We are thrilled to extend the Big Brew brand to New York” says Allison Kohler, President of JMK Events. “Our February event will be sensational, with over 200 craft beer tastings from breweries all over the world and a fantastic VIP area.”
Big Brew NY will feature a diverse list of local, national and international breweries and styles. And with a tip of the hat to food-lovers, VIP ticket holders will enjoy a mouth-watering, beer-infused buffet with menu designed by award-winning craft beer writer, speaker and radio personality John Holl, author of The American Craft Beer Cookbook. John will also be available to meet with Craft Beer fans at the event to discuss pairings.
“With so many breweries operating in the U.S. these days it’s great to have a showcase like Big Brew NY where the public can sample a wide variety in a comfortable setting while getting to know the people behind the beer”, says John Holl. “I’m excited to share my passion of pairing good beer with good food during the VIP session while we explore the very best of what dish goes best with what’s in your glass.”
In addition to the buffet, VIP ticket holders will also enjoy several special benefits including an extra hour per session and more than 25 VIP-only rare beers available throughout the event.
Big Brew NY will also feature a special Chocolate and Beer Pairing seminar and demonstration, presented by 2 Chicks with Chocolate.
