Fat Heads Head Hunter IPAFrom Fat Head’s - Uncivilized and aggressive this west coast styled IPA packs wicked hop flavors and aroma. Savage amounts of Simcoe, Columbus, and Cascade hops define this brews signature pine and citrus notes. Try with our smoked wings in the Killer sauce and run the risk of a shrunken head!

Fat Head’s Brewery & Salon – Fat Head’s Head Hunter IPA – 12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 7.5% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a hazy amber gold with visible rising bubbles. Not much of a head to begin with, but a thin white cap of white froth remains throughout the session.

Aroma:  Nice dank tangerine and some spicy sweet malt.

Taste:  Pleasant grapefruit and pine like hops. Pineapple, correctly suggested by the label description. Honey covered biscuit. Finishes fruity followed by long piney bitterness.

Mouthfeel:  Medium bodied moderate bubbles.

Overall: A very impressive strong IPA. If this was an option in my area, I would be drinking a lot more of this.
