Summer YuleSmith is here and just in time for Independence Day! This Imperial India Pale Ale is designed to celebrate the incredible flavor and aroma of American hops. A substantial malty backbone provides a firm backdrop for the big hop profile that follows. Copper colored and full bodied with an alcohol content around 8.5% abv, Summer YuleSmith is a classic example of the modern Imperial IPA…American style!
Starting this Thursday, June 25th, you can purchase Summer YuleSmith during our tasting room hours (Thursday/Friday 2pm-5pm, Saturday 1pm-4pm). It will be available in bottles for $7.50 each and on draft for growler fills of $17. Can’t make it to the brewery? During the summer, YuleSmith is transformed into a big, hoppy, Double IPA. The enormous load of hops requires a substantial malt background to create just the right balance for a Double IPA. Lighter in color, summer YuleSmith is available around the 4th of July and is packaged in a red, white, and blue bottle.
