Surly Goes to Hell

Hello Surly Nation, Wanted to update everybody on the latest news from the brewhouse.

#1 – Surly goes to Hell.
Our newest draft specialty comes out this week – Hell. The beer is inspired by the Munich Helles style of beer. Finally, a beer we have brewed that my German mother will like! It is a lager beer brewed by Todd, Sarah and Beaner. Check it out at your favorite Surly watering-hole. We brewed one batch, so it will go fast and no, it’s not going to be canned.

#2 – SurlyFest is coming
September 6th at the brewery. The hours are 4-8 and it will be the official release of SurlyFest 2008. We will have 3 bands, food for sale and you get a German-made Surly Stein. Tickets are $30 each and there are about 100 left. The tickets will be on sale at the brewery on Saturdays from noon-2:00. Online ordering is possible on our swag page. All the tickets will be mailed out August 25th and will not be available for sale on-line after that.

#3 – Darkness Day is October 25th.
We are working on getting everything ironed out for SurlyFest. After Surlyfest, we will announce the details of the Darkness sale of 750 ML bottles at the brewery. Our plan is to have more bottles which will enable more people to purchase more than 2 bottles.
