So this email is a bit longer than usual, but there is lots of good stuff to be found in here. The Reader’s Digest Version:

OUR FIRST EVER SCAVENGER HUNT!
Do you like mystery? Are you convinced that the DaVinci Code was true? Do you wish you were Indiana Jones? Would a kegerator look perfect in your home? If so, read on!
We have put together a scavenger hunt with hidden clues embedded in a video. All of the items that you are seeking are in downtown Houston. Here is how it works:
Watch the video that we have posted in a few places (in case you have difficulty viewing one of the sites). The video will show specific objects with which you need to take a picture of yourself (i.e., have both you and the object in the same photo). All of the objects are in establishments where you can find good beer, and enjoying a Saint Arnold while on your quest may bring you enlightenment! Once you have found all of the objects and taken the required photos, you may either upload the photos to any of a number of photo-sharing websites (flickr, shutterfly, etc.) and send the link to [email protected] or print the photos and get them to us at the brewery.
The deadline for us to receive the photos is Sunday, August 3 at 11:59 PM. (If you are trying to drop off photos at the brewery over the weekend, there is a little mail slot in our front door.) Make sure you include your name, email address and phone number. Only one person per photo so if a group of you are doing it, you each need to take individual pictures of yourselves with the objects.
The first 100 correct and complete entries that we receive will be sent an invitation for that person and a guest to attend a party here at the brewery. At that party, we will draw one name and award that person a home kegerator!

Send us proof: Either upload photos to photo-sharing website and email the link to [email protected] or bring us the photos. Don’t email us the photos or else our server will probably crash.

TEXANS TICKET LOTTERY
This marks the return of our Texans ticket lottery. This is the chance to come sit on the front row of the Bullpen with us, paint your hair, heckle the opponents and cheer on the Texans! From these seats, you can see just how large Mario Williams really is (Answer: LARGE!) and even have the possibility of a Texan jumping into our seats after a touchdown. It has happened before!
Here is how it works:
We have 4 front row seats in the Bullpen. We use 2 of the tickets ourselves and have a drawing for the other two. To be in the drawing, you give us a $250 deposit prior to the drawing. If your name is drawn, you choose which game you want to attend from those still available (ie, the first name drawn gets to choose from all of the games.) You receive the two tickets and a parking pass for the Blue Lot, which is right next to the Platinum Lot where we tailgate. And we then keep your $250.
We tailgate for all the games & want you to join us for this too. We provide food and refreshments. We will start tailgating 2 1/2 hours prior to the noon games and 4 hours before the afternoon and evening games (there are two Sunday afternoon games and one Monday night game). If you are interested, please let us know. We will have a party at the brewery on Wednesday, August 6 from 6pm – 8pm during which we will have the lottery. There are a total of 8 games (plus two preseason games that we will include if there is interest). You will need to be present at the drawing.
Lottery Date: Wednesday, August 6
Time: 6pm – 8pm (drawing probably around 7 PM)
Deposit for Texans tickets: $250 cash, check or credit card (if your name is not chosen for any games, obviously you will not be charged anything and cash and check will be returned – you just had a free party at the brewery).

SAINT ARNOLD AND THE ASTROS ON AUGUST 15
Come cheer the Astros with us on August 15. First, we will gather at the brewery starting at 4 PM for some pre-game refreshments. Then, at 6 PM we will leave our cars at the brewery, not having to worry about parking, and ride a luxurious, unairconditioned school bus down to MinuteMaid Park. Once there we will root for the Astros from the Bullpen Boxes and do all the other fine activities that accompany a baseball game. After the game we will board the bus and return to the brewery. In anticipation of the question, there will be no refreshments available upon return to the brewery. The wearing of Saint Arnold gear is encouraged.
Event: Bus trip to Astros game vs Arizona Diamondbacks
Date: Friday, August 15
Pregame: 4 PM at brewery
Bus departure from brewery: 6 PM
Bus return to brewery: After the game
Price: $35 (includes pregame, bus roundtrip and Astros ticket)
