Karl Strauss 8th Annual Beach to Brewery – Recap with Pics

The Full Pint rolled down to San Diego to drop in on Karl Strauss’ Beach to Brewery event, benefiting the Surfrider Foundation. We’ve probably been to 4 out of the last 8, and enjoy ourselves immensely every time.

Unlike a good portion of the beer festivals we attend, this festival has a completely different crowd and vibe. As we’ve mentioned before, this festival has an equal amount of males to females, and theses male and females aren’t what you’d consider beer geeks, just people looking to enjoy the afternoon with some music, food and craft beer.

If you’ve been hesitant to attend, hopefully this large picture collection will change your mind. Besides the beautiful people to keep you occupied, Karl Strauss keeps on bringing it with their beer. Off the top of my head, Parrot in a Palm Tree, Karl Strauss 22nd Anniversary and their Black IPA were outstanding.  There was a really long line for the cask conditioned beer every hour, and I was too thirsty to wait.
