Iron Hill Shares Their 2014 GABF Beer Lineup
Iron Hilly Brewery & Restaurant is a very famous craft brewpub chain in the North East, more specifically in the heart of the Delaware Valley. They have done very well in the past few years at The Great American Beer Festival medal competition across many of their locations.
The Full Pint will be pumping out the GABF 411 for the next two months, and we’d like to share with you what Iron Hill Brewery will be sending to the Great American Beer Festival for sampling. Stay tuned often as we update our master list for 2014’s Great American Beer Festival.
Blackburn Stout – (Newark)
Oatmeal Stout
OG: 1.065 Color: 45 IBU: 40 ABV: 5.6%
Fuller bodied oatmeal stout malty sweet with a balanced bitterness, and a distinct dark roasted malt flavor and aroma
Abbey Dubbel – (Newark)
Belgian Style Dubbel
OG: 1.068 Color: 18 IBU: 25 ABV: 6.9%
Brewed in the original style of a Belgian monastery. This mahogany ale has the sweetness of dark Belgian candi sugar paired with a distinct aroma of plum and pears.

Gold Digger IPA – (Wilmington)
American Strong Pale Ale
OG: 1.062 Color: 8 IBU: 65 ABV: 6.0%
A golden American IPA with a pronounced citrus/pine hop aroma form an abundance of Citra, Chinook and Simcoe hops.
Bedotter – (Newark)
Belgian Style Tripel
OG: 1.088 Color: 4.0 IBU: 38 ABV: 9.5%
Traditional Belgian-style golden ale with complex aroma and flavor of plums, spice and bananas with refreshing balanced bitterness.
Awards: 2002, 2003 and 2004 GABF Bronze medal winner.
Saison Chateau – (Chestnut Hill)
French & Belgian Saison
OG: 1.060 Color: 3 IBU: 30 ABV: 6.2%
A classic Belgian farmhouse ale brewed with Chateau Pilsner malt and whole leaf Hershbrucker hops.
Rye of the Tiger – (Media)
Rye Ale
OG: 1064 Color: 6.5 IBU: 60 ABV: 6.0%
Rye malt and Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand flavor this amber American IPA with spicy, grapefruit flavor and a touch of dryness in the finish.
Russian Imperial Stout – (Wilmington)
British Style Imperial Stout
Full-bodied stout that starts with a complex, malty sweet and high-roasted character that is wonderfully balanced with the use of citrusy American hops.

F.Red – (Chester)
Flanders Oud Bruin
OG: 1060 Color: 17 IBU: 15 ABV: 7.0%
Flemish-style red ale starts off with a light caramel sweetness that gives way to a quenching sourness and effervescent mouthfeel.
The Cannibal – (West Chester)
Belgian Pale Strong Ale
OG: 1.073 Color: 3 IBU: 31 ABV: 8.0%
Belgian-style golden ale with a complex, dry sweetness, balancing bitterness and a spicy finish.
Awards: 2005 GABF Gold medal; 2006 World Beer Cup Silver medal.
Vienna Red Lager – (Newark)
Vienna Style Lager
OG: 1.046 Color: 11 IBU: 22 ABV: 4.4%
A European amber lager, medium-bodied with a delicate malt aroma, slight sweetness and a clean, crisp finish.
