Come enjoy free live music, life size beer pong, delicious food, and beer from Pitcher’s Brewery, Crabtree Brewing, and Coors High Country Beverage. The Friday Night Edition starts at 6pm on Friday and is where the fun will be kickin’ off, the night before Oktoberfest.
Saturday September 27:
Oktoberfest is an annual fall festival celebrating our local German heritage offering a variety of musical entertainment starting at 11:00 a.m.
At the beer garden, you will have a choice between 15 different beers and brews. Pitcher’s Brewery will provide five different brews including their exclusive Oktoberfest brew, Coors will bring their domestic beers, and Crabtree Brewing offers five popular beers.
Also, delicious food will be available. Oktoberfest patrons enjoy strolling through numerous craft and novelty vendors selling such items as quilts, clay art, candy, homemade bath and body items, candles and jewelry. Our improved children’s area “Kid’s World”, will entertain children from 11am – 6 pm.
Oktoberfest will have lots of fun contests, including a brat toss, beer barrel race, stein race, and a dunk tank. And yes, you can win prizes.
Bring your best rival kuga, rye bread, and pie to enter our baking contest, deadline is 4 pm. Entry is free and winners receive prizes!
Come as you are or celebrate the traditional costumes. German men wear Lederhosen, leather shorts with suspenders, white shirts and knee high stocking. German women are often dressed in the colorful Dirndl, flowery folk dress.

This festival is in Greeley Colorado by the way. Just happens to be my home town! The beers by Crabtree Brewing and Pitchers are very good. They don’t get much publicity but they attend most local brewfests.
