Four Peaks Brewing – Sharp Objects and Plenty of Beer

Once again the promise of free beer and the opportunity to create brought out throngs of people. Although not everyone won something, no one left dejected. The creative think tank that became the Four Peaks Back Bar area was comparable only to that of the scientists brought together for the Manhattan Project!

Although some people went with the traditional jack o’ lantern style of old, there were some folks crazy enough to put together football helmets, ASU logos, and even a work that can only be called a “Pumpkin Porter Pool Party.” All I can say is wow.

We had participants show up a good 30 minutes before the official start time just to get a good spot (and more than a few Pumpkin Porters). Although there were plenty sharp objects spotted, no injuries or casualties were reported. It’s true, in over ten years of having this competition we have a spotless injury record!
