Celebrate 13 Years of Delicious Beer and Delicious Shtick with Shmaltz at GABF
Shmaltz Brewing Company, handcrafters of HE’BREW- The Chosen Beer and the new Coney Island Craft Lagers(TM), is excited to celebrate our 13th year of brewing at the Great American Beer Festival as we nationally launch the special limited-edition release of Jewbelation Bar Mitzvah: our 13th Chosen Beer in 13 years of Shmaltz.
Brewed with 13 malts, 13 hops and soaring to 13% alc, Jewbelation Bar Mitzvah will be nationally available in 22 oz. bottles and a limited amount of draft beginning October 1, 2009.
With Shmaltz turning 13 this year, which in Judaism marks the year of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah (the coming of age for a Jewish boy or girl), a momentous Bar Mitzvah throw-down will take place at Falling Rock Tap House on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Come join the Shmaltz posse and be among the first to taste the latest in our award-winning Jewbelation series. The following evening at GABF (Fri. Sept. 25), Shmaltz proprietor Jeremy Cowan and the Shmaltz posse will team up with Joe Carroll of Brooklyn’s famous Spuyten Duyvil and Fette Sau for the official national release event of Jewbelation Bar Mitzvah. Named by Zagat as “Best BBQ in NYC,” Fette Sau will feature divine food pairings alongside a variety of Shmaltz beers.
Check out all of the details below and feel free to forward this info along to anyone you know who will be attending GABF. The more the partier!!
