Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival Announces Styles and Flavors

Attendees Can Choose From Over 60 Different Beers and 40 Bourbons! (complete list at the bottom)

Towson, MD – Moorea Marketing today announced the official beer and bourbon list that will be featured at the second annual Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival on April 5, 2008 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Maryland. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Sister Slippers, an organization dedicated to providing new shoes to children in need.

“We have exceeded our expectations with the amount of beer and bourbon that will be on hand and this event will present an unmatched selection of flavors,” stated Greg Nivens, president of Moorea Marketing, the show’s producer. “Guests will have a wide variety to choose from throughout the day, regardless of their taste or usual preference.”

While tasting the best beers and sipping on the finest bourbons, guests can also enjoy the best barbeque that Maryland has to offer while listening to the sounds of local band, Mr. Greengenes. In the Bourbon College Tasting Theater, there will be over a half a dozen tasting classes to heighten people’s awareness of the flavor profile of great bourbons. In addition, the event will offer everything from exhibits on grilling equipment to an outdoor heated cigar tent for cigar aficionados.

In a new move for year two, the token system for tasting beer and bourbon has been eliminated. The souvenir glass included with the tickets will offer unlimited samplings.

Admission to the festival is $30.00 in advance or $35.00 on-site and includes admission and a souvenir glass. VIP Admission is $40 (available in advance only). Designated driver admission is also available for $15.00 and includes admission to the event. Kids 12 and under are free.
